Turtle Beach Ear Force Stealth 400 Review
Today I will be taking a look at the Turtle Beach Ear Force Stealth 400 Wireless Gaming Headset for the PS3 & PS4. Turtle Beach have been one of the most known about brands when looking for console peripherals, currently in front of competition.
What’s in the box:
- Ear Force Stealth 400 Headset
- Detachable Microphone
- USB Receiver
- Micro USB Charging Cable
- Optical Cable
- 3.5mm to 3.5mm Cable
- Documentation & Warranty Cards
The look and feel of the Stealth 400 is very nice considering the price, it is mostly plastic with foam ear cups and head band, comfy enough to withstand the most grueling gaming sessions. Turtle Beach boast a full 15 hours of battery life, which after a few tests is pretty spot on. The headset features a detachable microphone which is great when your just wanting to listen to game sounds, but can be a nuisance if, like me, your prone to losing things.
The headset features four presets for which can be switched out with the push of a button; Bass Boost, Treble/Bass Boost, Natural and Voice Boost. There is also a voice volume slider and game volume slider which allows you to alter party chat volume without effecting the game or vice versa. Every time you power the headset on or off, you are greeted with a Siri like voice sounding the words “Powering On” or “Powering Off”. She also lets you know when the battery is getting low or what preset you currently have toggled.SS
From the price point I would say that the Turtle Beach Ear Force Stealth 400 is great bang for your buck with a £79.99 Price tag this is defiantly a headset you’ll want to check out.
