Audio specialist Klipsch have just partnered with car manufacturer and Formula 1 company Mclaren for their new T5 Wireless II headphones. Aptly named the McLaren edition, the headphones and also charging case have been designed with the iconic car company in mind.
The headphones themselves have been modelled from Klipsch’s sound systems, with claims of them being the most comfortable earbuds on Earth. Let’s hope we can put that to the test.
For this, they’ve used their very own patented oval ear tips which have been specially designed to sit comfortably inside the ear canals. The tips are made from silicon, to also reduce fatigue. There are also some memory foam eartips and three sizes of ear wings to keep the headphones from falling out too easily.
The Klipsch T5 II also uses Klipsch designed drivers to generate neutral sound with some deep base. There’s a new diaphram technology that uses ‘minimal-thickness’ to enhance the clarity of your music.
Some more features include a Transparency Mode which allows noise from the outside world to pass through the earbuds, so you can hear things like traffic on your walk to work, and also has a built-in microphone that uses cVc® for added clarity. Plus what sort of headphones would these bei f they didn’t have a connection to your digital assistant.
In terms of lfespan, the Klipsch T5s have an eight hour single charge lifecycle, with an additional 24 hours of additional charging thanks to the case. The case itself is also wireless for those handy Qi chargers out there.
The new Klipsch T5 True Wireless headphones sound great on paper, and look absolutely stunning on the press images that were sent through to us. But real life performance will have to wait and see if we can get our hands on a set. So stay tuned.
