Ahead of Leicester City FC’s Champions League game against Atlético Madrid, rockers Kasabian next Monday 17th April will be streaming a live Twitch game of FIFA 17 online. It’s been reported that they’re going to emulate the game, hoping for a win for their home town favourite.

Following the live stream, the Leicester born band will be performing an intimate live show on Wednesday 19th April at the Kentish Town Forum in London. This will also be streamed live on Twitch for Kasabian fans worldwide.

The last clash between Leicester City and Atlético Madrid unfortunately saw the northern team face a 1 – 0 defeat. Not too bad I’d say, so let’s cross our fingers Leicester come out on top during their second game which is set to take place on the 18th April this year.

Before the Kasabian match on FIFA 17,. band members Tom Meighan and Serge Pizzorno will be taking part in a live Q&A discussing the new album.

“Seems only right to get stuck in on FIFA ahead of the Leicester game. Hopefully, we can make life imitate art for a win in the Champions League too,” said Serge Pizzorno from Kasabian. “What a way that would be to kick off our run of intimate shows at the Kentish Town Forum. We’re buzzing to play our new tracks live to fans in such a small venue, it’s going to be incredible.”

If you miss this Kasabian fans, no worries. The band will be headlining both the Reading and Leeds festivals so you can catch them there.

“It’s no secret Kasabian are as passionate about Leicester City and football as they are about music, so we’re excited to help them fulfill a dream of playing in front of a global audience,” said Steve Boom, VP of Amazon Music. “The band are one of the most thrilling, exciting acts in British music so we’re proud to help bring these global gaming and concert experiences to millions, along with giving Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers access to enjoy tracks from their new album.”

“This event perfectly represents how Twitch has expanded beyond being a destination solely for live streamed video game content into a broader platform for other industries, such as music and sports, to connect with fans,” said Jason Fletcher, Director of Marketing, EMEA at Twitch. “Thanks to Amazon Music, seeing Kasabian face off on FIFA 17 against two Twitch personalities in one explosive gaming, sports, and music show on Twitch is a testament of our community’s power to bring shared interests together.”
