Xbox is keen on using your feedback to deliver more choices for you.
A recent blog post by Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox explains some of the changes that will take effect in the near future.
On June 9th 2014, there will be a cheaper Xbox One than the current market. The starting price will be at £349 but will not include the Kinect system. You will still have access to the best games like Titanfall, Call of Duty, Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3, and the upcoming favourites Watch Dogs and Destiny.
The popular entertainment apps such as Twitch, Netflix and YouTube will also remain. You will also be able to watch live TV and use OneGuide. Finally, all the unique features of the Xbox One will remain such as getting game invites while watching TV, switching between entertainment apps and games, and also uploading some of your favourite gaming moments.
Xbox are bringing more value to their customers by letting owners download entertainment apps whether or not you have an Xbox Live Gold membership.
Games with Gold has proven to be very popular with over 12 million people enjoying the great free games available. Xbox is using your feedback to release better titles. In June, titles released on Games with Gold on the Xbox 360 will be Darksouls, Charlie Murder and a bonus game of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. Xbox One gamers are going to see Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault.
Deals with Gold is another service coming to the Xbox One in June. Titles will include Forza Motorsport 5 and Ryse: Son of Rome. There are a few other surprises that Xbox is keeping to itself for now. Over the coming months we can expect to see up to 75% off of titles.
The Kinect sensor will become a standalone product come this winter for anyone who decides they want it with their £349 Xbox.
