Earlier in the year at the E LEAGUE’s Major Grand Final, we saw Danish team Astralis win 2-1 against titans Virtus.pro in an intense game of Counter Strike: Global Offensive.
Astralis took their first ever major victory in a brilliant game. Now, the stakes just got even higher.
TBS have announced that they will be broadcasting Clash for Cash: The Rematch, a $250,000 grudge match between the two teams. The two teams will be going head to head in an insane rematch.
It’ll be a chance for the Polish team Virtus.pro to take back a portion of the $5000,000 that Australis won back in January.
The television network TBS will be broadcasting the event live alongside major streaming services like YouTube, Twitch and E LEAGUE’s own streaming service.
The previous match had a concurrent one million viewers on Twitch and around 3.6 million on TBS which for eSports are great numbers.
The event was announced on the E LEAGUE official YouTube channel earlier this year, will video views already hitting just over 35,000.
