Stelle Pillar review
The first thing that struck me about the Stelle Pillar is its packaging. It looked like it was going to be a huge bottle of perfume in there. It’s beautiful. Its design is something you may find in a modern minimalistic home. And the sound? Incredible.
Being a bluetooth speaker it can hook up to any bluetooth-enabled audio device. It also works as a hands-free speaker if you hook it up to your mobile.
Its simplistic design goes hand in hand with the setup. Hold down one button on the top to enable its built in bluetooth. Then pair your device. Simple. Playback is done with your phone or mp3 player. I used a Samsung Note III to change the equalizer settings to get the most out of my music.
It’s extremely lightweight as well which is great for carrying around in a bag. Having a 15 hour battery life is great and ensures you have music throughout your day.
It has an 3.5mm auxiliary input as well so you can hook up other devices to it.
The main downfall I found with the device is that it is a sealed unit. Batteries deteriorate over time so it would have been nice to see that this could have been replaced, but it’s not a huge deal.
The speakers can be purchased from Apple stores and online at £249.
