You’ve probably heard of Simba, or if you haven’t, you would have seen one of their ads while browsing online. They make mattresses, toppers, pillows, duvets, and everything you need for a good night’s sleep. Well, they have a number of Which awards, and nearly 50,000 reviews on Trustpilot, averaging 4.5/5, plus even more reviews on their website, with the consensus being very positive.
Mattresses, they have several to choose from, so making the decision may not be the easiest. However, they have a handy comparison tool on their website, to run you through the differences in materials, build and cost, to help you narrow it down.
Three ranges in total, with 3 options under each, comfort, deluxe and earth range. Prices start from £579 and go north of £2000 depending on option and size. The handy comparison tool shows spring quantity, layers, depth and materials used.
If the comparison tool isn’t enough and you need a little more help in choosing your next bed, they have also put together a Bed Buying Guide aswell.
Already have a mattress you love? Then try a pillow, a duvet, protectors, sheets, bed frames or a mattress topper…?
That leads me nicely to their Hybrid Mattress Topper. I have one and it’s honestly changed my sleep. It’s only an additional 65mm on top of my mattress, built up from three layers of Aerocoil springs, foam and cotton cover. Kept in place by four adjustable straps, one within each corner.
Unboxing the topper was quick and very easy. Take it out of the box, open the packaging and roll it out. I then let it sit for a few hours to air out, although this wasn’t noted as a step for set-up. The first night, was firm, with a bit of a ‘new smell’ odour, but since then, it’s been a joy to sleep on. Comfortable, soft to the touch, but firm enough to support. Over time, I felt my body sink and mould within the topper. It’s getting warmer now in the UK and may soon see whether the topper feels warm or cold to touch on a hot summer’s night. So far, so good.
You may be thinking, “What if I don’t like it?” Well, they offer a 200-night trial and a 10-year guarantee. So if after your 199 sleep (or maybe a couple less), you can contact Simba, note you’re not entirely happy and they will come to collect it and refund you. You don’t even need to try to package it back into the box.
I think when the time comes for needing a new mattress, Simba will be the first port of call! To find out more about Simba, head over to their website today.
