Last week saw me attend Fire PR’s Christmas in July event to get a hold of what stocking fillers are going to be available this fall. I always find buying presents at Christmas difficult. People have different tastes and you don’t want your present to be played with for 5 minutes, then thrown into a cupboard the next. I have a few sneak previews at some of the latest gadgets to hit the market just in time for your shopping trips.
First I would like to show you some interesting bags from WOWTHEM. They charge your phone on the move. Simple really. You charge the bag at home, then connect your phone to the bag using its built in phone charger. Micro USB is the standard connection but there are Apple adapters available. The bags come in different shapes, sizes and colour. They also showed me some great headphones that flashed in the dark to the music, along with some extremely small Bluetooth speakers that gave off very good sound.
Giftswithstyle.com gave me a look in as well. They are going to be releasing some very tasty watches that will compliment any wrist as they come in all colours and styles. They also showed me a desk tidy which would be a great asset to any busy desk. It kept your useful stationary in one place. This would definitely not go a miss on my current desk. And lastly, some fancy clocks. Their wall clock is the first clock to be created with a different font for a digital format. Usually you get blocky numbers, but this time around, the style has changed, it looked great. Check out the picture above to see what I mean.
Lastly came Doro, the phone manufacturer aimed at 65+. Do your grandparents need new phones to stay in touch? Doro’s range of phones will feel right at home with them with their simplistic design and basic menu functions. They are even branching out into the smartphone world, but more on that later.
