Tesla showed off their new Cybertruck a couple of days ago, and boy is it a strange looking car. It reminds me of something you would find in the future scene of Back To The Future 2, and something you would find on a future shooting game from the PS2. It’s got some very sharp edges, and does not look like a conventional vehicle at all, but, the future has to start somewhere right?
And what more, they had a big old blunder when testing their armoured glass. Musk’s co-host and Tesla’s head of design, Franz von Holzhausen threw a metal ball with force at one of the front windows and it shattered. It didn’t smash completely, so there’s that. Doh!

But despite this blunder which was actually played off pretty smoothly, Musk tweeted out that they had sold almost 150k trucks so far. Of course, these are on order as the truck hasn’t fully released yet, but that’s a pretty decent number.
There’s been no date for release as of yet, but there has been speculation that the truck will be released by 2021. So that 150,000 people don’t have too long to wait for their new toy.
