Amazon has just released a new Fire HD 10 tablet. This time round, the internet shopping giant is now offering their premium tablets with a new silver, aluminium all metal enclosure. It will also be the same price as the standard black version which is amazo-ning. Get it? See what I did there?

The metal casing now comes in at only 7.7mm and is one of Amazon’s thinnest tablets ever. The tablet itself features a nifty 10.1 HD display for all of your high-definition videos. The screen will also giver you 22% more viewing screen over other manufacturers tablets.

Inside is where this tablet really shines. It has a 1.5GHz quad-core processor so you’re able to play more demanding games and use multiple apps at once.

For movie lovers, not only do you get the advantage of a full HD screen, you also hes stereo speakers powered by Dolby Audio.

The Fire Hd 10 features additional storage now coming in at 64GB if you need it. What’s better is that it is being offered at £229.99. There are also the older 16GB and 32GB options still available starting at £169.99. There is a microSD expansion slot for anyone who finds their top tier 64GB option not enough.

The operating system of choice here is Amazon’s Fire OS which has been designed to make browsing for your favourite media smoother and more enjoyable.

For your selfies you can enjoy a 720p front facing camera as well as a 1080p, 5-megapixel rear camera for those impromptu shots.
