Dell has just announced an array of new products, most importantly, from Alienware, which look fantastic. They include two new laptops and one desktop PC, which includes new PCI-E liquid-cooled graphics.

Alienware Area-51m R2

Alienware is stating this is the world’s most powerful gaming laptop (when equipped with a number of items) but boy does it look like it will pack a punch regardless. It includes the new 10th Gen Intel® Core™ S-series processors, featuring 10 cores (a first on an Alienware laptop), 20 threads, and up to 5.3GHz with Thermal Velocity Boost to maximize efficiency and drive performance. It also includes a 17″ display with either UHD for that glorious crisp experience or FHD panels with up to 300Hz refresh rate for eSport fans. It features a keyboard with 1.7mm of key travel, N-key rollover technology, and per-key RGB lighting that’s fully customisable. It’ll be available in June but will set you back a cool $3000USD or more, depending on the configuration.

Alienware m15/m17 R3

Let’s take it down and notch and look at something a little more affordable with the M15 & M17. As you guessed from the title, these come in two display sizes, 15″ or 17″ and the M17 can include an RTX 2080 SUPER Max-P GPU, so you know AAA titles will look glorious. Couple that with i9-10980HK processor, 32GB DDR4 Ram and an SSD drive, this will play anything you through at it. There are two color options too, including Dark Side of the Moon and Lunar Light both of which are formulated with a new High
Endurance Clear Coat for advanced stain resistance. Available May 21st
with a starting price of $1,499.99 USD (15”) and $1,549.99 USD (17”).

Alienware Aurora R11

Lastly, a desktop PC, which is more down my street, with the Aurora R11. Alienware is now introducing its first PCI-e liquid cooling graphics on the Alienware Aurora. It’s available on NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER
graphics and will deliver up to a 19.5% temperature reduction and up to a 69.2% noise reduction. With this new addition, gamers and pros considering the Alienware Aurora can now get liquid-cooled processors AND liquid-cooled graphics! It sounds like heaven. Like the laptops, multiple configurations with various i9 processors, HyperX FURY XMP DDR4 Ram, lots of power, lots of RGB and very overclockable. Available at the end of May with configurations starting at $880.

Sneak Peak…

Alienware 25 gaming monitor, now with 360Hz refresh rate, G-Sync, and IPS. More on that later. Head over to the official Alienware webpage.
