The new JBL E45BT headphones are wireless and sound brilliant. Out of the box, without looking at the instructions, I was listing to music from my S8 Plus in under 30 seconds.

It is that simple. But it could be the easiest thing in the world, but if they didn’t believe, it would all have been so pointless. Thankfully, they sounded wonderful. The all-blue design looks smart and there are few gripes.

They are on-ear, and I prefer over-ear. So what. The volume rocker control has a pause in the middle, and is fiddly. But you get used to it. And, well, that’s it. So if you can handle that, the rest is going to all slot in to place.

The JBL E45BT costs just under £80 at the time of writing. Now that seems a little high, but believe me, they do sound nice. And they last a while too – from full charge, expect them to be playing up to 16 hours later.

The company says it has 40mm drivers and an innovative, stylish fabric headband that emphasises your fashion quotient. Whatever that is. The ergonomic on-ear design means that entertainment continues and fun factor gets amped up no matter what the user’s doing – working, commuting, or just making their way around town.

Multi-device connectivity allows the user to seamlessly switch between two devices, so they never miss a call. Click here to find out more about the JBL E45BT headphones.
