Want to be a pro gamer? Well now you can thanks to an odd partnership between UK mobile network provider and European gaming champions FNATIC. Sounds odd right? It is, but read on, this could apply to you.
It’s all about a game you may have heard of called Clash of Clans. You know, that popular mobile game that was once the pinnacle of smart phones? You know the one.
Well EE and FNATIC are holding a gaming tournament to fish out the country’s best Clash of Clans player with a hope of adding them to their team. The tournament, named the EE Mobile Series will feature three stages of gameplay. The first being a qualifier, followed by three rounds of eliminations.
The final however is the most exciting part. Being held at the BT Sport Studio in London on Sunday 20th January, eight players will go face to face for that top spot. If you win, then you have the chance of winning a spot on the FNATIC Clash Royale team with a full time competitive salary, as well as a OnePlus 6T complete with a gaming mode and a room in the FNATIC game house.
The entire tournament kicks off with their open qualifiers on the 27th – 29th November, with the round systems taking place between 4th and 13th December. You can visit Battlefy.com for more information on the tournament and how to sign yourself up.
