Kickstarter campaigns are becoming ever so popular for the gaming industry as a way of getting games off the ground. Crowfall, a new MMORPG from ArtCraft entertainment has got crowds excited.
Nearly 13,000 backers have given up their hard earned cash to bring ArtCraft $1,047,734 to play with.
Showing some gameplay footage alongside their campaign has proved to be a good move.
Branded a Throne War Simulator, Crowfall allows players to join Guilds, Factions and Noble Houses to battle it out for control of different worlds. Mimicking popular board games like Risk, Crowfall is taking on a huge task of changing the MMO genre to give players an entirely new experience to gameplay they’ve grown to know.
