Funstockretro.co.uk have just announced the release of their new Sinclair ZX Spectrum VEGA. The historic console will enable users to relive their game-filled childhoods by providing you with all the classic Spectrum games. The company has them in stock and ready for sale.
The Sinclair ZX Spectrum VEGA is completely plug and play with over 1000 titles to choose from including Perfect Ten, Knights Lore and Back To Skool. All of the games are pre-installed onto the console so there is no need for anything else except your television to get you started. The VEGA also supports SD card support so even if your favourite games aren’t included in the list of 1000, you can easily install them to an SD card and play them through the console.
The console is retailing at around £100, but to be honest with you, I think that’s a complete bargain for the journey back to my childhood. The console has been designed by Chris Smith, a former ZX Spectrum VEGA developer. If having the choice of 1000 games to choose from isn’t enough, budding games creators out there can even develop their own games for the console and install them onto an SD card to play.
What’s better, no more loading times. I remember having to sit there for a time while I waited for the tapes to load. No more waiting with improved internal hardware over the original.
The games on board the console have been rated by PEGI for adults and children above the age of seven.
