As you know, Bethesda released their first gameplay trailer of the new apocolypic world of Fallout.

Now at E3, they’ve given us even more to look forward to. Bethesda showed us a whopping eight minutes or so worth of starting gameplay.

Unfortunately they didn’t give us any spoilers of how the storyline is going to pan out but they are proimising insane amounts of freedom in their world.

From what we saw, Fallout 4 is absolutely stunning, running on Bethesda’s new next generation Creation Engine. They’re boasting full physical based rendering and drynamic volumetric lighting which sounds extremely exciting.

Character creation features a full sculpting system enabling you as the player to truly customise the way your character looks. You design the look of your parents to give you a mixture of the two as you’re first introduced as a baby, very similar to Fallout 3’s opening sequence.

Good news. The V.A.T.S system is back for accurate targeting for those crucial hit boxes on enemies.

Fallout 4 is set in downtown Boston where you will find the remains of landmarks, ruined towerblocks, overturned highways and gritty back alleys that is fully open for exploration.

A nice feature is your pet dog, who will aid you in your missions.

Bethesda got us pumped for the release of Fallout 4, showing us I believe enough to get us to the release date. It is one title I’m really looking forward to.

Please check out the other titles Bethesda boasted about in the video above.

E3 is taking place in  LA and is considered the biggest games exhibition in the world.

YouTube are even streaming the event live this weekend.
