Last summer, we took a look at Shadow, a cloud based gaming pc and we were very impressed with what they had to offer. Since then, Shadow has continued to grow in success, with more & more people trying this type of gaming, and they even released their 2nd gen Shadow Box. Continuing on that growth, Shadow have now partnered with Ubisoft, to offer their customers a free game when the sign up!

New customers to Shadow, will now be offered a free Ubisoft game, the yet released, Far Cry New Dawn, offering a saving of upto £40. Any new Shadow user who subscribes to a 3-month (£26.95/month) subscription between 24th January and 25th February 2019 will receive a copy of Far Cry New Dawn, which is due for release on the 15th February. This isnt the first time Shadow partnered up with Ubisoft, they did it once in the past, over a TrackMania Stadium experience.

What does this mean? It means you will be able to play the latest Far Cry game, at the highest quality settings, at home or on the go via your mobile device. For those of you unaware of Shadow, they offer a cloud based, high end gaming pc, for a monthly fee of £27. This allows you to access the Shadow software, available on PC, Mac, Tablets, iPhones, which then turns your perhaps medicore device, into a high end gaming PC. Spec’s for this cloud pc include an Intel CPU, 12gb DDR4 Ram and a GTX 1080, allowing upto 4K @ 30fps. The only catch is you need a decent internet connection to use the service.

In addition, a limited edition of the new Shadow Ghost, in the colours of Far Cry New Dawn, will be exclusively available on Shadow’s Facebook and Twitter accounts for the duration of the promotion.
