Ubisoft has a reputation of revealing a secret game at an E3 event. This year they didn’t let that rumour down.

First off was a show from Matt and Trey, the creators of South Park showing off their new game. This time they’re focusing on the edgy superhero characters shown in the series. South Parks dark humour along with some of the best suuporting characters will be making a return appearence.

The big surprise was a game called For Honour, a multiplayer war game based in the medieval times. It reminded us very much of the old Dynasty Warriors titles. You and four friends can face another four players in a two teamed battle for victory. The game showed us an assault on what looked like a castle or keep. AI soldiers on each battle are present to get in your way.

Tom Clancy The Division, a tactical team-based shooter is promised to be with us on March 8th 2016 on all platforms simultaneously. The video demonstration showed us a burnt out Times Square where four players went up against a wave of terrorists and even clashed with a rival faction. The team first helped out, but then backstabbed the rival faction at the last minute to win their loot. The game showed us how tactical play comes into use when fighting off waves of enemies. There was even shown a levelling system for the enemies starting off as the basic type right up to Elite status. Fans of MMPRPGs will recognise this.

Anno 2205 showed us how you can make a giant leap to live on another planet. The popular city builder is making a return, this time based way into the future with hovercars, big round white buildings, lasers for bridge cables and alien farming.

Just Dance 2016 reveals you do not need a camera connected to your console anymore. Instead, they’re opening up the game to all console owners. By using your smartphone you are able to join the millions of already players around the world to practice your dance moves in your living room. Jasoin Derulo even made an appearance singing his new single that’s just hit number one on the Top 40 Chart. Apaprently he’s a huge fan of the Just Dance series. There is even a streaming service that Just Dance 2016 players can subscribe to to keep up with latest content. Season Pass then.

Rainbow Six retuns to us as four of the most elite soldiers from around the world. Rainbow Six: Siege gave us a snippet of in-game cutscene. A digital Angela Basset gave us a brief, stop the bad guys. The new threat we’ve been told is one of the biggest threats the world has seen. We’re being promised the most dangerous AI yet. Some gameplay footage of the returning gamemode Terrorhunt looked great. You are able to complete missions with up to four of your friends. A remote control camera was used to scout out each room ahead which is a beautiful feature to the new Siege game. The maps are pretty destructible after seeing a bomb go off and make a hole in the floor. The end of the gameplay demo got pretty hairy with most of the squad wiping out.  The beta will be starting on September 24th this year so keep a look out for that. It’ll also be available on all platforms.

Even before it was properly introduced, Assissins Creed: Syndicate received a few cheers in the crowd. Our favourite stealth assassin game is back, this time taking place in Devil’s Acre, London. The gritty free-running simulator is ever improving this time taking note of what players wanted. The video shows us the protagonist get involved with a horse and carriage chase clambering on the roofs of the different viehicles. We even see our hero in a child’s work house slaving over hot stoves. It takes place in 1860 in the centre of the Indistrial Revolution. The trailer hinted that the hero’s martial art abilities will be making a return. No swordplay shown off through. The greives were present. The Ubisoft booth have a demonstration of Assassins Creed: Syndicate. You can even sign up to their closed beta at assassinscreed.com.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Reacon: Wildlands caused a stir. A team of four took down several of White Hat’s drug operations smoothly. We were shown a mix of stealth and loud gameplay. Ubisoft showed us one of the most diverse open world shooters I’ve ever seen. From green jungles to snowy nountain tops, your mission will include shooting many guns, driving a whole array of vehicles from cars to bikes to possibly helicopters. This is definitely one of the most exciting games of E3 this year so far.

Ubisoft showed us some exciting footage this year and have some superb games coming later on in the year and early next year. Keep an eye out on TechNuovo for Ubisoft updates.

E3 is taking place in  LA and is considered the biggest games exhibition in the world.

YouTube are even streaming the event live this weekend.
