MCM Comic Con is returning to the London Excel this month. We went last time, we will be going this time and it looks to be better than ever!

If you’re planning on going, I’m sure you will want to know which special guests will be attending the event, so you can prep your goods for signing and perfect that smile. So far, only a handful of guests have been confirmed but they include some big names already! Guests include Anthony Mackie (Falcon Marvel), David Bradley (Game of Thrones, Harry Potter), Stefan Kapicic (Deadpool) and Johnny Yong Bosch (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Code Geass). Prices for autographs start at £15, with photographs being a little higher but expect to pay a lot more for the bigger names!

Cosplay is always a key part of any Comic Con, perhaps sometimes the most improvement thing of all and this time round, it’s no exception. The EuroCosplay Championships Final 2017 will take place on the Saturday in the Gold Theatre. The judges will have a tough time picking their champion, as competition is fierce. No additional ticket is required to see this final, so just rock up to the gold theater Saturday afternoon, and watch these talented Cosplayers.

Also at the event will be some of the new upcoming game releases, ready and waiting for you to try out. Titles are still to be confirmed but expect big brands such as Nintendo and Playstation to be showcasing their stuff.

When we went last time, Funko Pops played a big part on many of the stalls, with Funko even having their own stand, and yes, Funko are back this time and will be bringing more ‘exclusives’ to the event. We weren’t too impressed with the exclusives last year, they were merely pops that came out in America first, with some lame sticker. Let’s hope for something better this time round.

There is also an author corner, comic book section, various live panels and also many many stalls, so you can spend a small fortune!

The event is being held at the Excel, London, 27-29th October 2017. Tickets are available now, they start at just £17 and kids under 10 can get in for free with a full paying adult. Be quick though, tickets are selling fast! For more info and to purchase, visit the official MCM website.

See you there!
