Memory cards are always an afterthought when buying a digital camera. Depending on which style of camera you have, a certain type of memory card can be crucial.
I’m currently shooting with a Sony NEX-5, a nifty little Compact System setup. I used to use a bog standard 4GB Sony memory card before switching out for the Lexar Professional 600x SDHC memory card and I am definitely not going back.
The Lexar Professional 600x SDHC memory card is a UHS-1 card which is the memory card’s speed class. To take advantage of the added speed you would need a compatible device, but with newer cameras on the market now, this shouldn’t be an issue.
The card has been designed for those SLR cameras where they ‘re now being used for 1080p HD video as well as large megapixel photos. It is a huge improvement on the write and read speed compared to my older memory cards.
Files will transfer to your computers at 90MB/s which is superb for your larger video files.
Overall this memory card will be an asset to your professional photography. The Lexar Professional 600x SDHC memory card will save workloads with its increased read and write speeds. You can pick one up from Lexar for around $41.99.
