EE have moved further into the mobile industry by releasing their very own device called the Kestrel. It’s an Android smartphone which packs a hell of a punch for just £99. There is also 10GB of data up for grabs if you top up £10 on purchase.

Inside there is a more than capable quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and a Cat 4 LTE radio. There is also 1GB of RAM. It features a 4.5 inch 960 x 540 LCD display.

On paper this should be able to handle the maximum 150Mbps download speeds EE provides in its Extra plans. So if you’re looking to jump on the 4G bandwagon but don’t have the money for some of the top of the range devices, this is definitely a great buy for you.

The Kestrel is available now for £99 on pay-as-you-go or from £13 a month on EE’s new entry-level 4G tariffs.
